Affiliate marketing programs is a perfect business opportunity for those wanting to get their foot in the door of the business world but may not be able to leave their home. Affiliate marketing gives you the opportunity to become a savvy business person in a highly competitive field without ever having to invest money on inventory or even leave your house.
But with every business, one needs to know what products to invest in and which to steer clear off, affiliate marketing is no different. With the many scams and trivial products on the internet an affiliate marketer needs to invest some time into research to avoid making any irreversible mistakes.
1. Be sure the affiliate marketing programs is one that you are interested in. It’s no good choosing a program that you can not get excited about. If you can not convince yourself that the product or service is worth it, then you will never be able to convince your prospective customers.
2. Associate yourself with products that are regarded as high quality by the experts. People are more likely to take the product seriously if it is thought of as worthy by an authority figure, ie. a celebrity or renowned specialist.
3. Join affiliate marketing programs that already have satisfied customers tied to their products. By doing some research on review sites and forums you can find people who have tested the product and found it adequate.
4. Work with merchants that offer their affiliates plenty of support. As an affiliate marketer you are in a sense a business partner. Thus you want to do business with someone who is responsible, makes an effort to keep in touch with you and offers you the support they can to make the business successful. By helping you they are helping themselves.
5. Find products that belong to an affiliate program serving a growing target market. This will ensure that there will be more and continuous demand for your product. Visit book stores, read newspapers and magazines, and visit social groups to find out what people are interested in and devoting their time and money to.
6. Look for programs that give you an opportunity to earn a residual income. This is how the wealthy truly make their money. Work once and continue to make money over and over again. Though these programs do take some searching to find, they are worth the hunt.
7. Because most visitors do not buy on their first visit, it is important that the merchant has a tracking cooking of at least six months. This way if the customer decides, several months later to purchase the product or use the service you still make the commission.
8. Find out when you will be paid, and if possible avoid programs that pay quarterly or after you have accrued a certain level of sales. These quotas are often difficult to achieve and may take months before you see your first paycheck. Programs that pay weekly or even bi-weekly are usually better. Find a program that is suited to your financial needs.
9. Be sure that the affiliate marketing program you choose has a statistics page that will list the number of click through, sales and earning. This way you can keep track of your progress.

Article Marketing & Copywriting Secret - How To Make Your Article …
To go directly to the Cash Sniper website by Chris Fox: click here.
Most authors are wasting their time producing dozens to hundreds of high quality articles that never reach a fraction of their traffic potential. It’s a darn shame.
When I review the behind-the-scenes traffic statistics on over 20,000 articles that have produced over 1 million monthly page views in my article marketing lab…ONE thing is clear: All articles are not created equal even when everything about them is identical except for the TITLE.
The reason is probably not what you think.
If you’ve been schooled on traditional copywriting, you know that in the offline world, the headline determines as much as 95% of the success of the book or article. This statistic takes into consideration what makes the book title successful: Whether a human buys it or not.
Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story because of the way your articles reach humans who have an interest in them.
MYTH: Most people will read your articles because they came to a website and started browsing just like they do if they were to have gone to a local book store to find a book of personal interest.
FACT: Wrong! Most people will search the Internet using one of the major search engines and they will be putting in between 1 to 5 keywords that are related to the topic of the article or information they are looking to locate. The search engines will then deliver results that best match the human’s interest.
YOUR GOAL: To have your articles show up in the search engine results for the keywords and topics that are most related to the content of your article.
HOW?
You must embrace this TITLE creation & traffic-building truth:
The first 3-5 words of your TITLE determine the success of your article in terms of how much traffic your article will generate back to your website. Success can only be had when you create keyword rich titles for your articles that match the most commonly searched keywords for your topic.
How to determine which keywords are rich and the right ones to use for your article?
You’ll need a keyword research tool. Some are free and some are fee-based. Overture.com has a popular keyword research tool that shows you the most common search results from the Yahoo search engines directory. If you want to see what’s on "Google’s Mind" you can try one of their current beta tools called "Google Suggest":
http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en&complete=1Whether you use a web-based keyword research tool or invest in one of the more advanced application level software keyword research tools, it’s critical that you learn know how to do keyword research.
A "Good" vs. "Bad" TITLE Example:
Here is an example of the difference between a non-keyword rich TITLE vs. a very keyword rich TITLE that is proven to perform better in terms of traffic creation:
Bad TITLE Example:
"Top 9 Ways You Can Acquire Fractional Jet Ownership"
Excellent Keyword Rich Title Example:
Fractional Jet Ownership - 9 Strategies to Help You Acquire Your Private Jet
Why is it more effective?
Because it does not waste the first 3 words of the title with meaningless garbage words like "top" or the number "9" or "ways"…and gets right to the important words that might be found when someone is using a search engine to research a topic related to your article.
You’ll also notice in my example that I included the word "Private" Jet. Why? Because my keyword research said that people who search for fractional jet also search for the word "private jet" and therefore I wanted to boost the chances that my title would be found by a larger number of potential visitors to the article.
Two recommendations on what NOT to do:
1) Don’t include garbage characters in your TITLE such as quotes, tildes, asterisks or anything else that a search engines has to work hard to discard in order to understand the TITLE of your article.
2) Do not engage in any search engine spam technique by having keyword rich TITLES that have nothing to do with the topic of your article. You’ll only be hurting yourself as the search engines already aggressively filter out bad behavior like this.
YOUR INTELLIGENT KEYWORD RICH TITLE COPYWRITING CONCLUSION:
If you want to maximize your results from any article marketing strategy, you must master keyword research so that you can create keyword rich and intelligent article TITLES. Your pay off will be massive amounts of traffic to your articles and website thanks to the search engines who love smart keyword rich TITLES!

Article Marketing - Optimizing Your Website With Article Marketing
One of the first things you should learn when you’re trying to develop your own website is article marketing. Without a doubt, article marketing is one of the best ways to optimize your website without spending so much money. All you really need when you’re in this branch of online marketing is enough writing skills and research. There are, however, a few technical things you need to think about when you’re doing article marketing for your website.
Using keywords
What we call keywords are actually strings of words that people usually use to look for websites in a search engine. As a response to a search engine user’s "query", the system then crawls the net to look for web content that contains these specific words. If you’re a driven website developer, you’ll definitely want to make sure that your articles contain the most popular keywords used online. Every niche, like tennis for example, has its own list of popular search queries or keywords.
You need to be careful about using too many keywords on your articles, though. While keyword repetition does help when it comes to ranking a webpage higher, too many keywords in a single article can make your content look unattractive. Make sure that you only use keywords when and where necessary. You wouldn’t want random keyword inclusions sticking out of your website’s content.
Information and length
You also need to keep two things in mind when you’re writing your online articles: information and length. As much as possible, don’t be too wordy or roundabout when you’re explaining something in your article. If you can simply go directly to the point, you should do so. Make sure, too, that your article doesn’t ramble on and on. Include only useful information in your online articles to gain the trust of your human visitors.

Article Marketing Tips: The Seven Deadly Sins
To go directly to the Google Cash Sniper website: click here.
Here are seven common mistakes that will ruin your article marketing campaign. Make them and you could get banned from the top article directories, anger readers and possibly get Google slapped.
It’s no secret article marketing is a great way to promote your online or offline business. A successful campaign will help you build brand recognition and credibility, send your link popularity through the roof and lead targeted traffic to any landing page you choose. But not all campaigns are successful, and a poorly executed article marketing campaign can ruin your online business. Here are seven common article marketing mistakes that can kill your online business.
- Spelling and/or Grammatical Errors - Perception is everything. Publishing articles with poor spelling and grammar will lead people to question your intelligence and professionalism. No one seeks the advice of a "dummy" and no one wants to do business with people who are unprofessional.
- Hard Selling - People don’t go to article directories looking for advertisements, they go looking for content. If your article reads like an advertisement, people will assume the article is spam and keep looking. The top article directories are unlikely to publish your "advertorial" and you might even get yourself banned from a few. Don’t derail your article marketing campaign by trying too hard to generate a sale.
- Too Many Links - Use links sparingly in the body of your articleparticularly self-serving links. In fact, it’s a good idea not to include any links in the first three paragraphs. There’s a lot more to article marketing than easy backlinks.
- Unhelpful Articles - In all likelihood, your readers came across your article while trying to solve a specific problem or learn how to successfully complete a task. If they’ve read your entire article and aren’t any closer to accomplishing their goal, you’ve already wasted too much of their time. Many authors feel that if they actually solve the reader’s problem for free, they’ve blown an opportunity to make money. In fact, the opposite is true. The most successful article marketing campaigns are those where your readers are convinced you have helped them. It’s the best way to build brand loyalty.
- Misleading Titles - If I read an article titled "3 Simple Tricks to Boost Sales," I expect to learn about three tricks, each of which is fairly simple and actually boost sales. Two tricks won’t do it. Nor will three difficult tricks, or even three really simple tricks that don’t work. It’s a matter of trust. Your readers want what you promised them. If you mislead them with your article title, they’ll assume you will mislead them about your products and services.
- Submitting to Shady Directories - Like it or not, your site will be judged by the company you keep. There are hundreds of article directories made up almost entirely of spam articles linked to illicit websites. It’s pretty clear to the search engines that these directories are filled with links to low quality sites. Add your articles to too many of them and you run the risk of becoming guilty by association. Using automatic article submission tools can result in your articles being added to hundreds of nefarious sites and ultimately, your website getting "Google slapped" (penalized for poor quality).
- Duplicate Content - Many of the top article directories will only publish unique content. You need to know which ones before you start your article marketing campaign or you may get banned for violating the directories’ guidelines. If the best article directories stop accepting your articles, you’ll have to rely on the shady ones. Be wary of article spinners that promise to help you "instantly turn one article into twenty". You’ll probably end up with twenty really bad knock-offs of the first, none of which will be unique enough to fool the article directories. If you’re not going to opt for a great article spinner, you had better rewrite your articles manually.
Now that you know how to kill your article marketing campaign before it gets off the ground, here is some advice that will guarantee your successflood the top article directories with useful, unique and well-written articles on topics of interest to your target audience. Buzzle is a good place to start.

Want to learn about low or no cost methods of marketing, take a look at Chris Fox’s Google Cash Sniper.
Make Money Through Internet Marketing
Marketing is something that a lot of people want to get in to. If you are also looking to find a job that you can do from home with complete flexibility, then you should look online. There are many different ways to have a marketing job online. You can make money through internet marketing via affiliate programs. These are programs that rely on marketing in order to make money for the merchant site and the affiliate business site.
What happens is that the affiliate site will advertise for another site and get paid for all of the traffic that is sent to that site. The affiliate site can also get paid a percentage of the purchases that the visitors make. This is called a two tier affiliate program and it makes more profit for everyone. This is because the business will get more sales and the affiliate site will get paid from those purchases. If you become an affiliate you can quickly make money through internet marketing. The great thing about this is the simplicity of these programs. In addition, you will have ultimate flexibility in your hours and you can work when it is convenient for you.
You just need to remember that effort is very important. When you are in marketing, it is important to be aggressive in order to attract people to your product. This means a lot of planning. Also, as an affiliate, you need to advertise to customers that will actually want to visit the site and buy some products. This is why you should choose to become involved with sites that are either similar or that you can w rite about on your site to promote them.
If you want to make money through internet marketing then you know a little something about that type of business. You know that it is illogical to think that you can sell any type of product. You need to get involved with products that you know will sell because that will then make you more money. This is especially true if you are part of an affiliate program that is labeled as a two tier. In this type of situation, when you are responsible for the sales of more products, you will get more money. If you really are serious about making some money, it is important to be confident that you can advertise for a product that is really going to sell.
